Via Andrea Bafile is the longest pedestrian area in Europe, and this year, it is ready to amaze all tourists once again: both those who have been attending the city for years and those who are coming here for the first time. The traffic-restricted zone will start on 25 May along the main directions of the lido. It will last until 17 September 17th, every day, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Everyone will be able to relax after dinner in the stores, restaurants, bars, pizzerias and numerous commercial activities. In Jesolo, the pedestrian island is an attraction, a strength of the tourist offer. The streets in question are: via Dante Alighieri, via Mameli, via Bafile, via Nievo, via Aleardi, via Silvio Trentin, via Foscolo, via Verdi and via Dei Mille. Precisely this stretch of the main road, in the first part of May, will be involved in the introduction of the first “Zone 30” in the city. The traffic-restricted zone will also be extended to via Levantina, via Altinate, viale Oriente (between piazza Torino and via Olanda.) This provision will thus turn 10 kilometres of Jesolo into the longest pedestrian stretch in Europe.
