Jesolo is a city that lives twelve months a year. This is affirmed by data released by the city administration during the press conference “A city for every season.”
On this occasion some important events that will take place in the coming months were illustrated.
Marking the entry into the warm season will be the “Jesolo Beach & Kite Festival,” the international kite event that returns to animate the beach after last year’s great success. This second edition, taking place between March 31 and April 2, will involve more than 200 kite flyers, representing 12 countries, who will perform on a 1 1/2-kilometer stretch of beach in front of Piazza Trieste, making it the largest kite festival in Italy. It will be possible to admire the beautiful kites hovering in the Jesolo sky from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., access is free and there will be themed performances based on the different types of kites. In addition, on Saturday, April 1 from 9 p.m., the magical night flight will be held.
From 2023 Jesolo will become the base camp of Donnavventura, the television program created in 1989 and now broadcast on Rai 2.
On Sunday, May 7, IRONMAN 70.3 Venice-Jesolo returns, where more than 3,000 athletes are expected to participate, while on Saturday, September 2, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Air Force will be celebrated with the spectacular Jesolo Air Show and the passage of the National Aerobatic Team with the beloved Frecce Tricolori. Finally, starting in June and throughout the summer, the monumental Sand Sculptures will return with a spectacular new theme.
