The pink caravan passes through Jesolo!
The pink caravan of the 106th edition of the Giro d’Italia will also pass through Jesolo on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 24.
The route will enter the city from Via Piave Vecchio and will continue through some of the town’s lido squares where, at Trieste Square, the athletes will cross the flying finish line.
The race will then head into the pine forest and, crossing the Piave River, will head towards Caorle, which this year is the 17th stage of the Giro.
About 20 kilometers will cover the Jesolo area.
The Giro d’Italia has already tinted the city of Jesolo pink in the past. In 2009 it was the start of the second stage of the cycling race and in 2015 it was the 13th stage of the “Pink Caravan.”
The start of the Giro d’Italia 2023 will begin on May 6 from Fossacesia Marina in the province of Chieti and will end on May 28 in Rome, along the Imperial Forums, for the fourth time in its history.
