Digital Sound Academy at the B.Y.C. di Jesolo: interactive experiences between information technology and sound.

Four workshops open to all children, with or without experience in the music field:

Friday 04 March 2022 – SOUND LANDSCAPES – 4.00 pm
Listening games and exercises

Friday 11 March 2022 – SMART SOUND – 2.30 pm
Laboratory: digital sound control via mobile phones

Friday 25 March 2022 – WII SOUND – 2.30pm
Workshop: digital sound control via Wii remote

Thursday 31 March 2022 – INCREASED JAM SESSION – 2.30pm
Laboratory: amplification and processing of the sound of musical instruments in real time

The workshops are led by Jonel Zanato, trained at the Arrigo Pedrollo State Conservatory of Vicenza in the field of Electronic Music. Always been attracted to both the world of music and that of information technology in equal measure, in the music field he deals with production and composition ranging from pop genres to soundtracks to experimental music. His main computer skills are developed in the field of multimedia editing and programming, specifically the sound-oriented one. He is currently carrying out artistic projects through the creation of interactive sound installations and compositions of concrete and acousmatic music.
